Trestle Tables
Our trestle tables are ideal for larger functions – or room or tent hire situations where a squarer formation of tables is required. The trestle table is ideally suited to formal dinners and functions in which rows or right angled arrangements of diners are going to be seated – a wedding dinner is another perfect example, with bride and groom occupying the middle of a trestle table at the “head” of all the other guests. The guests themselves are traditionally arranged in a hollow square below the bride’s table – all of the component parts of this arrangement can be made with our trestle tables. Like all our other tables, our trestles fold flat for easy storage and transport. That means you can get as many as 40 of them in a single column – and you can fit as many of those columns as you like into a lorry, or the space you have available for long term storage. They’re superbly strong, easy to clean and designed with all the convenience of the event arranger and guest in mind. For a start, we’ve made the clipping action of the fold down legs as gentle as possible, and protected the fingers of any erector with a soft action clip. The legs of all our trestle tables are made from the highest quality powdered steel, secured with non slip O rings (so the hinged parts stay secured throughout every event, function and hire situation) and capped on the feet with stabilising rubber bungs. The bungs serve both as floor protectors and anti slip fastenings: preventing any sudden movement from dislodging whatever is on top of the table.
